Open Water – Latest News

7 weeks into the club open water season at Wykeham lakes and the water has hit 18 degrees, we have had hailstones and swimmers have built up too roughly an hour at each session.

It’s a stunning venue and is open to all competent club members at least 10 years of age who can comfortably swim a mile.

If you are a kayaker (or know one) you would be very welcome to come and help support the swimmers on the water each week.

We provide hot drinks for afterwards and lots of positive encouragement, pop up 6pm Mondays if you are interested in seeing another part of your club in action
