One of our Club members (Kevin), who is a licensed physiotherapist, has kindly offered to do a talk and give practical guidance for sports and swimming purposes this Sunday at the indoor pool.
The focus of this session will be informing and making our swimmers aware of the need to maintain full mobility after repetitive, endurance exercise and training.
It is intended that this talk/demo will teach swimmers the simple stretches to achieve this flexibility – enabling a swifter recovery after training and also reducing the risk of injury.
