Membership Renewals – 1st April 2023
Membership Renewals
First of all thank you for being a member of Kingfishers Swimming Club and for training with us during the past year.
Changes
If anyone has changes or questions please contact us BEFORE Friday 31st March at 12 noon so we have chance to make changes.
Annual Membership
The committee are pleased to announce the annual membership for this year (1st April 2023 – 31st March 2024) will remain at £100 per swimmer including Swim England Club Train Membership. Invoices will be generated on 1st April. The club are absorbing the increase in Swim England fees again this year for Club Train members. For Club Compete members (Cat 2) the upgrade will be an additional £20.50.
Gift Aid
Please help us to help you and keep our subscriptions down!
You can further elect to support the club by completing a Gift Aid mandate. This helps to keep membership increases to a minimum. You can be do this by logging in to Swim Manager and ticking the box on your account page. Please do this today, as we are applying for gift aid this month, and your tick means we can apply for Gift Aid for the last 4 years against your membership payments.
If another family member who is a tax payer pays for membership rather than yourself, and you are not a tax payer, please email the club secretary a name and postal address so we can update our records manually.
Thanks!

Meet the club welfare officer
Meet the club welfare officer…..
My name is Adrian and I am the Welfare Officer for Kingfishers Swimming Club. I have been involved in this role for just over 3 years. Previous to that I was just a happy grandparent sat on the balcony cooking alive watching my grandson swim.
I was originally born in Nottingham but landed in Scarborough around 1993 having moved down from Edinburgh. I have lived in a variety of areas including Cumbria, West Yorkshire and Wiltshire.
I have one son who has recently moved to live in New Zealand and 4 grandchildren 2 that currently swim for Kingfishers and one that is desperate to join when he is old enough. My 4th grandchild lives in Bangkok so a long way to come for a Wednesday night session.
