The team is the fastest combination of swimmers, per age group, chosen in consultation with members of the coaching team and final approval from the Head Coach.
All swimmers attending the gala will swim in at least one event. We have tried to include as many swimmers as possible based on PBs but please let us know if a swimmer would rather not attend if they are swimming in only one event. Please arrive wearing swimming costumes if possible to limit use of the changing rooms.
Thank you so much to everyone from our club who has already, and continues to volunteer to support these galas – they can’t run without you. Please let us know if you are available to help with any roles (officiating, timekeeping, coaching) for the 10th.
If swimmers need to leave the poolside for any reason please tellyour coaches where you are going. Wear your club kit and cap if possible. Bring something to eat (snacks – fruit, nuts, etc.), an extra towel, a bottle of water/plenty to drink, spare goggles and a hat if you have them and if you take medication please make sure you
have this with you. Loads more info here about what you might need especially if this is your first gala.
