Physio Talk / Workshop, 6.45pm at Indoor Pool (after Top Squad Session)
One of our Club members (Kevin), who is a licensed physiotherapist, has kindly offered to do a talk and give practical guidance for sports and swimming purposes this Sunday at the indoor pool.
The focus of this session will be informing and making our swimmers aware of the need to maintain full mobility after repetitive, endurance exercise and training.
It is intended that this talk/demo will teach swimmers the simple stretches to achieve this flexibility – enabling a swifter recovery after training and also reducing the risk of injury.

Parents & Members Open Forum – Thurs 24th Jan 7:30pm
Kingfishers is having an open forum for parents/ members and coaches on Thurday 24th January at 7:30 at Northstead scout hut (same venue as the xmas party). Please all try your best to come along. There’s some really great stuff happening at the club and it will be an excellent opportunity to come and listen, ask questions and feed back any of your thoughts and ideas. Hopefully there will also be some information/ presentation on the proposed land training. For all coaches there’s a pre meet before, starting at 7:00.
