Bridlington Gala Refunds

Bridlington Gala Refunds:

Hello all,

Refunds from entries made for the Bridlington meet will be credited back through Swim Manager accounts.

We have had to refund this way as we do not maintain a record of individual bank details therefore all payments received will be credited by credit note and should now show on your accounts.

If there were any on account outstanding Meet Entry invoices such as for an amended entry to another meet, the credit will have been applied in part to that, but is otherwise available for use against future invoicing.

Any parent wanting a refund by manual bank transfer will need to provide their bank account details to Brian @ admin@kingfishersswimmingclub.org.uk (before Thursday 31st March).

Payment will be processed after the April invoicing has been settled (about 11th April, excepting any hardship cases where the club will have to manually adjust earlier on individual request basis).

Many thanks for everyone’s understanding.

The committee

Meet Conditions & Schedule

Members your action is required…..

Recently it has become apparent that we only have one phone number as an emergency contact for some swimmers.

If something happens we rely on this information. Please don’t presume that the club volunteers will know which other members you are friends with and would trust with your child in an emergency.

For safeguarding we will only contact those people who you give us the details for. Therefore please check your swim manager account and ensure there are at least two named emergency contacts with numbers. For families with more than one swimming member please check each individual swimmer. Thank you

2022 Annual Membership Renewals !

To all members,

First of all thank you for being a member of Kingfishers Swimming Club and for training with us during the past year. As a club we have worked through the pandemic when rules have allowed us to and we are now in a position where we have returned to competition as well as a full training programme.

Annual Membership

We extended the last membership year which ran from January 2021 until March 2022. This was in recognition of the pandemic and the difficulties it had brought.

The committee are pleased to announce the annual membership for this year (1st April 2022 – 31st March 2023) will remain at £100 per swimmer including Swim England Cat 1 Membership (now called Club Train).

The club are absorbing the increase in Swim England fees again this year for Club Train members.  For Club Compete members (Cat 2) the upgrade will be an additional £18.80.

You can further elect to support the club by completing a Gift Aid mandate. This helps to keep membership increases to a minimum.  You can be do this by logging in to Swim Manager and ticking the box on the account page.

Monthly Training Fees

There has not been an increase in training fees since we moved to the new facility in 2017. As a registered charity we do not make a profit from the membership or training fees.

We announced last year that we would be reviewing the monthly training fees. The aim of the review was to continue to cover lane costs by training fee income in a fair and equitable manner with annual membership and other income covering overheads, affiliation fees, volunteer training, equipment, club events etc.  A working party made of existing committee members was set up to review fees and their findings were put to a full committee meeting on 10th March 2022.

As a result the committee has agreed to increase the monthly training fees. The training fee is dependent on the amount of training hours and takes into account the varying needs of the members as well as the club. Swim Manager accounts will be updated and the new training fees will take effect from 1st April 2022.

Technique Squad £20
Plan 1 Up to 1 hour £20
Plan 2 2 hours £28
Plan 3 3 hours £42
Plan 4 4 hours £48
Plan 5 5 hours £54
